Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC) sits on the shores of The Spit in Mosman, about seven kilometres north of Sydney CBD. MHYC is a large, active yacht club with an extensive keelboat racing programme, an on-site sail-training school and youth programme, a 103-berth marina, and the Australian Sailing Team National Training Centre. The club runs weekly inshore and twilight racing, major regattas including the Sydney Harbour Regatta and the Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship, and year-round learn-to-sail and instructor programmes.
