Prosail Whitsundays brings the thrill of maxi-yacht sailing to one of Australia’s most spectacular cruising grounds. Departing from Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, its two-day, two-night adventures set out through the Whitsunday Islands aboard Hammer, Broomstick or Condor—three legendary ex-racing yachts with the space, power and character to make every passage memorable.
Days unfold between real sailing, coral-reef snorkelling, Whitehaven Beach and the sweeping views from Hill Inlet Lookout. Guests watch the professional crew hoist the sails, grind the winches and helm these big ex-racing yachts, with a front-row seat to real maxi sailing, or simply relax as the islands slip by. Snorkelling equipment and wetsuits, freshly prepared meals, linen and the guidance of an experienced skipper and crew are included, creating an easy liveaboard escape with plenty of energy and personality.
Hammer, Broomstick and Condor each host regular shared departures, while private charters transform the same adventure into an exclusive getaway for friends, families, celebrations and groups. Prosail also creates selected longer expeditions and themed escapes, bringing together sailing, island exploration and life on the Great Barrier Reef in a way that feels unmistakably Whitsundays.
