About Darwin Sailing Club
Sunset over Fannie Bay with a cold drink in hand is a Darwin ritual, and Darwin Sailing Club is one of the best places to do it. Since 1963 the club has been the Top End's hub for dinghy and catamaran racing, learning to sail and waterfront socialising, and it has rebuilt itself at least once along the way.
**What the club offers** - Regular club racing and regattas, including twilight series and named races. - Learn-to-sail courses, school-holiday programs and junior development. - Coaching, seasonal sailing instructors and an academy-style training program. - Powerboat courses and instructor development modules. - Boat hire and private sailing experiences, plus function facilities and a waterfront bistro.
**Membership and community.** The club welcomes new members, volunteers and visiting sailors, supports youth scholarships and works with local sailing associations to promote Territory sailing. Its members regularly represent the NT at national events, including ILCA and Minnow championships.
