About Sturrocks Ship Chandlers
## About Sturrocks Ship Chandlers
Brothers John and Doug Sturrock founded the business in 1979, and the chandlery now sits at d’Albora Marina in Rushcutters Bay, next to the CYCA and Sydney’s ocean-racing fleet. Decades of dinghy, cruising and offshore experience shape the advice behind the counter.
### What You’ll Find
The shop covers sailing fittings, rope, winches, maintenance products, spare parts, dinghy equipment and clothing for both boat and crew. Offshore safety is a particular strength, including flares, lifejackets, tethers, jackstays, first-aid kits, anchors, drogues and life rafts for race and passage preparation.
### Brands and Services
Suppliers include Andersen, Antal and Allen for hardware; Awlgrip and 3M for maintenance; Baltic, Crewsaver and Burke for safety; and Musto, Gill, Henri Lloyd and Dubarry for clothing and footwear. Sturrocks also services inflatable lifejackets, life rafts and dan buoys, and can source specialist items not shown online.
### A Good Place to Look When...
You are preparing for an offshore category inspection, need race-ready gear quickly, or want advice from sailors who understand both dinghies and ocean yachts.
